Sage College – The British International School of Jerez is seeking a Boarding Graduate Assistant (with Performance Sports Responsibilities) to join our international boarding and High Performance Sports Programme from January 2026.
This exciting residential role combines boarding life, pastoral care and involvement in our elite training environment — offering valuable experience for those pursuing careers in coaching, PE teaching, sports science or boarding education.
The role
- Support the daily life, wellbeing and personal development of boarding students aged 11–18.
- Supervise routines, meals, study sessions, enrichment and weekend activities on rotation.
- Assist our coaching and performance staff in training sessions, fitness work, fixtures and travel logistics (linked to your sporting background).
- Contribute to trips, excursions and community events within a diverse international boarding house.
- Be a positive, reliable role model for students in all aspects of school and boarding life.
The successful candidate will
Hold a completed university degree (any discipline; sport/education fields desirable).
Have experience in competitive sport, coaching or youth development.
Be enthusiastic, approachable and responsible, with strong interpersonal skills.
Be fluent in English (the working language of the school).
Hold EU work eligibility (EU passport or valid right to work/TIE in Spain).
Be committed to the highest standards of safeguarding and student welfare.
Spanish language skills are advantageous but not essential.
