About This Role

Classroom & Learning Support
- Assist the teacher in lesson delivery, providing support to individual students or small groups.
- Organize and distribute educational materials, set up audio-visual equipment, and prepare resources for projects.
- Supervise students during activities led by the teacher and offer one-on-one instructional assistance as needed.
- Maintain classroom supplies and aid children in using materials, cleaning up, and organizing their workspaces.
- Support literacy, reading, numeracy, and phonics activities under the guidance of the teacher.
- Cover classes during brief teacher absences (in emergencies only), adhering to the provided lesson plans.

Administrative Support
- Perform general office duties such as photocopying, filing, preparing worksheets, and managing resources.
- Assist with preparations for SPEA inspections, ensuring all compliance documentation is accurately completed.
- Provide support to school administration with event logistics and coordination as required.

Student Supervision & Safety
- Oversee students during breaks, lunchtime, and pick-up/drop-off times, ensuring their safety and encouraging positive behavior.
- Monitor student dispersal as assigned.
- Escort young children to the restroom and assist with personal hygiene when necessary.
- Ensure the safe handover of students to authorized adults at designated drop-off points.

Cultural & Co-Curricular Activities
- Actively participate in planning and executing events for UAE National Day and other Emirati cultural celebrations.
- Support after-school programs and events to enhance the overall development of students.
- Promote Emirati heritage, language, and values through school activities and displays.

Health and Safety
- Adhere to and enforce all school health and safety protocols.
- Remain vigilant in classrooms and common areas to prevent accidents or hazards.
- Assist in implementing policies related to student conduct, behavior, and safety.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
