Assistant Headteacher - Teaching and Learning

We are looking for someone who:

• has a strong understanding of effective teaching, curriculum and assessment;

• can support and challenge colleagues with clarity, warmth and professional credibility;

• knows how to develop others and build a culture of professional learning;

• can use evidence of pupils’ learning to identify priorities and evaluate impact; and

• shares our ambition for every pupil to achieve well and feel that they belong.

We will give you the opportunity to get to know the school, build relationships and understand what is already working well before shaping the next steps with colleagues. You will have the support of the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher, alongside opportunities to develop your own leadership through the wider TrustEd Schools Partnership.
