About This Role

Are you an inspiring creative educator who believes that art, design and making are central to a rich and meaningful childhood?

Do you love helping children explore ideas, take creative risks and develop the confidence to express themselves through a wide range of materials, media and processes?

If so, you may feel very much at home at Alleyn Court Preparatory School.

We are looking for an exceptional Art Teacher to teach across the school, driving high standards while continuing to develop a rich, ambitious and creative curriculum.

The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner and a thoughtful subject leader, with the vision and energy to lead Art and Design Technology across the Main School. They will demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge, teach and assess effectively, take responsibility for their own professional development, and help pupils achieve highly, both academically and socially, so that they grow as respectful, responsible, resilient, resourceful and reflective young people.
