About This Role

We are delighted to offer an opportunity to join our vibrant and caring team at Crown House School in High Wycombe as our new Afterschool Care Leader.

This is a rewarding role at the very heart of our school community, perfect for someone who is nurturing, organised and passionate about working with children. You will lead the daily running of our afterschool provision, creating a safe, happy and engaging environment for pupils at the end of each school day.

Every afternoon brings something new – from creative crafts and imaginative play to friendly chats and quiet time. If you enjoy building strong relationships, creating a sense of calm and fun, and being part of a team that genuinely makes a difference, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role Includes:

Caring for and safeguarding children in a warm, inclusive environment.

Leading and supervising engaging, age-appropriate activities from EYFS upwards.

Taking attendance registers and communicating with parents at pick-up time.

Serving light refreshments.

Working with school staff to ensure the highest standards of care and wellbeing.

Key Details:

Hours: 3:45pm to 5:45pm, Monday to Friday during term time.

Optional: Additional paid work available in our holiday club (up to four weeks, full days).

Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 Childcare qualification required.

Start Date: September 2025 or earlier by agreement.

Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience.
