Teacher – Mathematics (Job Ref# B198-26-27)

The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Mathematics or a related field, coupled with an internationally recognized teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, Bachelor of Education, or H.Dip.Ed in Mathematics. A minimum of three years of recent experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3, 4 (GCSE), and 5 (A-level) is required. Additionally, the successful candidate may be tasked with teaching Additional Maths (WJEC) at Key Stage 4, and experience in teaching Further Mathematics at A-level would be advantageous. Opportunities for additional teaching responsibilities may be available based on the candidate's professional strengths.

Alongside the qualifications mentioned above, the successful applicant must:
• Be an exceptional classroom practitioner with innovative and creative approaches, committed to high academic standards.
• Have recent teaching experience in the relevant subject and a current understanding of the British National Curriculum.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, and be adept at differentiating instruction to cater to the needs of each student.
• Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively while managing multiple priorities, setting and achieving appropriate targets, maintaining a solution-oriented mindset, and contributing positively to the school environment.
• Be fully proficient in IT.
• Be willing to drive and support a variety of school-related activities.
• Understand character-based learning and be capable of implementing individualized learning plans for each student.
• Uphold and fully support the Christian ethos of the school.

Experience in a multicultural international school setting is a plus.

The salary range for this position is CI$50,700.00 – CI$69,950.00 annually, commensurate with experience according to the school’s salary scale. Benefits include:
