About This Role
As the Head of St Andrew’s Turi, I invite applications for a teaching role at our esteemed institution. If you have a track record of delivering engaging and high-quality education to gifted and talented students, I hope to pique your interest in this remarkable opportunity. Not only will you be contributing to our exceptional school, but you will also have the chance to reside in the stunning Rift Valley region of Kenya.
This position is an exciting opportunity for a distinguished Mathematics educator to make a significant impact while gaining extensive experience in a successful, independent, full boarding school.
The successful applicant will become part of an experienced and dynamic department, known for achieving outstanding A level and (I)GCSE results. Teaching responsibilities will span from Year 9 to Year 13, and the candidate will also participate actively in our exceptional Sports and Outdoor Education programs.
St Andrew’s, as a full boarding institution, is dedicated to offering a vibrant co-curricular and boarding experience, with contributions expected from all staff members. The selected candidate will serve as an academic tutor and will be assigned to a specific boarding house for related duties.
Our school is currently undergoing a significant enhancement of resources, which includes the development of new classrooms, boarding facilities, and a dedicated STEAM center.
If this opportunity resonates with you, I encourage you to apply. I look forward to your insights, enthusiasm, and innovative contributions to our school community. In return, you will join a supportive and dedicated team of highly professional colleagues who take joy in guiding our students towards their goals. You will also enjoy a safe, picturesque, and rural living environment in Kenya—a country rich in exploration opportunities, featuring beautiful landscapes, wildlife, cultural experiences, and the Indian Ocean.
