The position

We are thrilled to present an opportunity for a current senior or seasoned middle leader to leave their mark within a high-achieving setting and become part of a well-established and successful school. The selected candidate will oversee the Sixth Form, managing both the strategic leadership and day-to-day operations of Years 12 and 13.

Additionally, this role will involve spearheading several key strategic initiatives across the school and participating in the Senior School Leadership Team. The individual will also be engaged in the daily management of the Senior School and in the formulation of Senior School policies, practices, and procedures to ensure alignment with the school’s mission, vision, and core objectives.

This position also includes the responsibilities of Designated Safeguarding Lead for Years 12 and 13.

The individual will report directly to the Head of Senior School.

After a long list meeting of the Selection Panel, those chosen will be invited for preliminary interviews during the week of 13 April. Shortlisting interviews with the Selection Committee will occur in the week of 27 April. Candidates who progress to the final stage will be invited for a briefing visit to the school followed by a final interview during the week starting 11 May.

The school is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to uphold this commitment. The successful applicant will need to provide an Enhanced DBS disclosure certificate or an equivalent document.
