The Role
Job Title: Admissions Advisor
Reporting to: Head of Admissions
Admissions Process Management
• Act as the initial contact for inquiries from prospective parents, delivering accurate information about the school, curriculum, admissions procedures, and entry requirements.
• Oversee the complete admissions process, from the first inquiry and application submission to acceptance and enrolment.
• Organize and coordinate school tours, open days, and assessments for prospective families, ensuring a warm and professional experience.
• Collaborate closely with academic staff to arrange entrance assessments, interviews, and communication of offer decisions.
• Relay admission decisions in a timely and professional manner while addressing any follow-up queries from families.
Parent and Student Engagement
• Establish solid relationships with prospective families, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the admissions process.
• Provide personalized assistance to families regarding visa processing, regulatory registration, and any required documentation.
• Share insights about the school’s academic offerings, facilities, and extracurricular activities to aid families in making informed decisions.
Data Management and Reporting
• Keep precise and current records of all inquiries, applications, and admissions within the school’s Management Information System (MIS).
• Generate and analyze reports on admissions data, including inquiry trends, enrolment rates, and retention statistics.
• Contribute to forecasting student numbers and preparing reports for leadership and regulatory bodies.
Compliance and Policies
• Ensure that all admissions processes adhere to local regulations and the school’s policies.
• Manage sensitive student and family information with professionalism and in line with data protection regulations.
Marketing and Outreach
• Assist the school’s marketing team in promoting admissions events and initiatives, including tours, open days, and parent engagement sessions.
• Represent the school at exhibitions, events, and fairs to attract prospective families and enhance the school's visibility in the community.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategies based on parent inquiries and admissions trends.
Collaboration and Teamwork
• Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, finance, and academic staff, to ensure a unified approach to admissions.
• Aid retention efforts by nurturing strong relationships with current families and facilitating transition processes for existing students.
The Person
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a related capacity, ideally in a school or educational context.
• Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum is beneficial.
• Experience working with diverse families in an international or multicultural setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and school Management Information Systems (e.g., iSAMS or similar).
• Fluency in English is essential.
