Victoria International School of Sharjah (VISS) is set to celebrate its 19th year of operation in August 2026. The initial campus of VISS launched in September 2007 in Al Taawun with fewer than 200 students. Over the past 18 years, VISS has evolved into a successful network of schools, comprising 2 IB World Schools that offer the Australian (Victorian) Curriculum from KG to Grade 12 and the IB Diploma Programme, now serving over 5,000 students across five campuses.

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic educators to join our vibrant team. The chosen candidates will create engaging lessons that align with the Australian Curriculum (adapted for context) to support students in becoming confident, independent learners.
Key Responsibilities
•
Deliver exceptional teaching and learning experiences that adhere to the curriculum
•
Cultivate a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere, prioritizing student wellbeing and safeguarding
•
Track and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback
•
Develop strong partnerships with parents and colleagues
•
Participate in school initiatives and contribute to ongoing improvement
Qualifications & Experience
•
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant subject area
•
Recognized teaching qualification and professional registration (e.g. VIT, QTS, or equivalent)
•
Prior experience in an international or Australian curriculum environment is preferred
•
Generalist science expertise with a specialization
•
Regional experience is advantageous but not mandatory
