Key responsibilities include designing and conducting engaging Orchestra music lessons, nurturing students’ musical talents and appreciation, preparing them for performances and assessments in line with the AP curriculum, and making a positive contribution to the school community.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education or a related discipline (minimum requirement)
- Prior teaching experience is not necessary; a genuine enthusiasm for teaching music is crucial
- In-depth knowledge of Orchestra instruments, repertoire, and performance techniques
- Ability to inspire and motivate secondary school students in their musical journey
- Strong communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
- Eagerness to work collaboratively in a multicultural educational setting
