EAL Teacher (2nd Language iGCSE, IELTS)

We are currently looking for a motivated EAL Teacher to become part of our Learning Support and Enrichment team, assisting high and secondary school learners in enhancing their English language proficiency for iGCSE Second Language English and IELTS preparation.

Key responsibilities encompass designing and delivering dynamic lessons tailored for non-native English speakers, helping students prepare for iGCSE Second Language English assessments and IELTS examinations, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with fellow educators to facilitate effective learning.

Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field (minimum requirement)
- Previous teaching experience is not necessary; training will be provided
- A strong command of the English language along with excellent communication skills
- Ability to modify teaching strategies to suit diverse learner needs
- Knowledge of UK curriculum standards is beneficial but not mandatory
