About This Role
Saint Paul American Scholars (SPAS) is an expanding K-12 educational institution dedicated to guiding young individuals toward becoming responsible citizens while preparing them for higher education. This mission emphasizes the importance of instilling essential ethical values such as courage, compassion, integrity, justice, truth, reason, fairness, respect, and honesty, alongside core academic subjects.
A positive educational environment is marked by high-quality instruction from teachers and effective learning experiences for students. Achieving this requires a safe atmosphere for everyone involved in the SPAS community, along with a strong focus on citizenship and fair application of rules to all members. We firmly believe in the vital role of parents as partners in the educational journey and their responsibility in the academic success and conduct of their children.
At SPAS, we are seeking educators who view themselves as more than just teachers. Ideal candidates will have a genuine desire to support struggling students, to challenge those who excel, and to understand the reasons behind students’ performance levels. Their commitment stems from a passion for ensuring that students not only survive but truly thrive. We value educators who are eager to collaborate with peers and stakeholders to further their students' success.
Educators recognize that teaching extends beyond merely assigning, collecting, and grading assignments. If you share this perspective, we invite you to apply.
