About This Role
Saint Paul American Scholars (SPAS) is an expanding K-12 school district dedicated to fostering responsible citizenship and preparing students for higher education. Our mission emphasizes instilling essential ethical values such as courage, compassion, integrity, justice, truth, reason, fairness, respect, and honesty alongside core academic subjects.
A healthy school environment is defined by high-quality instruction from educators and effective learning experiences for students. To achieve this, SPAS prioritizes creating a safe space for all community members, coupled with a strong focus on citizenship and the fair application of rules. We recognize the pivotal role parents play in education and their responsibility in contributing to their children's academic success and behavior.
At SPAS, we seek educators who see themselves as more than just teachers. Ideal candidates are those who are committed to understanding how to support students facing challenges, how to further engage high-achieving students, and why students are performing at their respective levels. Their dedication stems from the desire to see students not just survive, but truly flourish. Our educators are eager to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to enhance student success.
Education, in our perspective, transcends merely assigning, collecting, and grading work. If you share this belief, we invite you to apply.
