About This Role
Saint Paul American Scholars (SPAS) is an expanding K-12 educational institution dedicated to guiding students to become responsible citizens while equipping them for higher education. This involves instilling essential values such as ethical behavior, which includes courage, compassion, integrity, justice, truth, reason, fairness, respect, and honesty, alongside core academic subjects.
A positive school environment is marked by exceptional teaching from educators and effective learning by students. To achieve this, SPAS promotes a safe setting for everyone involved and emphasizes citizenship, with rules that are applied fairly and equitably throughout the Saint Paul Scholars community. We believe that parental engagement is crucial to the educational process, and parents must be actively involved and accountable for their children's achievements and conduct.
At SPAS, we seek educators—individuals who see themselves as more than just teachers. They are committed to finding ways to support students who struggle, challenge those who excel, and understand the reasons behind students’ performance levels. Their dedication stems from a desire to ensure that students not only survive but truly thrive. Educators at SPAS are eager to collaborate with fellow educators and stakeholders to enhance student success.
Educators recognize that teaching extends beyond merely assigning, collecting, and grading work. If this resonates with you, we are excited to hear from you.
