We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Head of Mathematics who possesses a strong background in the IB DP curriculum. Key Responsibilities

• Instruct high school Mathematics courses within the IB Diploma Programme (IB DP), including both Higher Level (HL) and Standard Level (SL), while ensuring lessons are engaging, challenging, and well-organized;

• Teach IGCSE and/or MYP classes based on experience;

• Create and execute lesson plans that adhere to the IB DP curriculum, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and inquiry-based learning;

• Evaluate students' progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their academic development;

• Cultivate an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere that addresses the diverse learning needs of students, employing differentiated teaching methods;

• Promote a growth mindset and ignite students' enthusiasm for mathematics, equipping them with vital skills for their academic and professional futures;

• Lead the Mathematics department and collaborate with colleagues both within the department and across the school to exchange best practices and resources.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field is required; a Master's degree or additional qualifications are preferred.

• Teaching certification is necessary, with a preference for candidates holding an IB DP Mathematics teaching qualification or relevant experience.

• Documented experience teaching IB DP Mathematics (both Higher Level and Standard Level) or comparable experience in international education.

• Familiarity with IGCSE and MYP curricula is a plus.

• Comprehensive understanding of inquiry-based learning principles and assessment practices within the IB framework.
