What will your daily responsibilities include?
The successful candidate will:

Provide strategic guidance for teaching and learning across the institution.
•
Craft and execute the school’s academic vision in alignment with IB principles and internationally recognized best practices.
•
Ensure continuity and progression across the MYP, IGCSE, and Diploma Programme (when applicable).
•
Lead comprehensive academic improvement initiatives for the entire school.
•
Oversee curriculum design, evaluation, and documentation in collaboration with Heads of Department and Programme Coordinators.
•
Encourage concept-based, inquiry-driven learning alongside high-quality assessment practices.
•
Establish and uphold high teaching standards through lesson observations, learning walks, and constructive feedback.
•
Leverage academic data and evidence to guide improvement strategies.
•
Manage assessment, moderation, grading, and reporting processes.
•
Support differentiation, inclusion, and fair access to learning for all students.
•
Supervise Heads of Department and academic leaders, promoting their professional development.
•
Foster academic integrity, resilience, and intellectual curiosity among learners.
•
Collaborate with the Head of School and Senior Leadership Team on strategic initiatives.
•
Represent the school in IB networks and external academic forums as necessary.
•
Maintain visibility, approachability, and supportiveness, while exhibiting excellent interpersonal skills and a positive sense of humor.
•
Exhibit adaptability, resilience, and creativity in leading change.
•
Actively engage in the broader school community life.
What qualifications and experience should you bring?
The preferred candidate will possess:
•
Extensive experience in an IB, IGCSE, and/or international school environment.
•
Demonstrated academic leadership experience (e.g., Head of Department, Programme Coordinator, or a comparable role).
•
Experience as an MYP Coordinator and/or IB Coordinator (highly desirable).
•
A solid understanding of IB standards, philosophy, and program implementation.
•
Background in curriculum development, assessment design, and quality assurance.
•
A bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant discipline, along with a recognized teaching qualification.
•
A postgraduate qualification in educational leadership (preferred).
•
Experience utilizing student performance data to drive school advancement.
•
Proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
•
Experience in line management, mentoring, and staff development.
•
A strong commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of students.
•
A dedication to ongoing professional learning and reflective practices.
•

•
