Are you an enthusiastic and inspiring English Teacher with expertise in the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP), and IGCSE? If you’re looking for a new challenge, we invite you to consider our Head of English Teacher position.

What will your daily responsibilities include?
The selected candidate will:
•
Possess experience in teaching English at the senior school level, with a strong preference for those who have worked with IB MYP, DP, and IGCSE.
•
Have a deep understanding of the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy and curriculum framework.
•
Collaborate on curriculum development, focusing on the creation of concept-driven units of inquiry that incorporate authentic assessment tasks.
•
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students across all levels.
•
Utilize a constructivist approach to education and promote independent learning.
•
Encourage international-mindedness and service-learning initiatives.
•
Exhibit high levels of organization.
•
Be approachable and visible, possessing excellent interpersonal skills and a good sense of humor.
•
Demonstrate flexibility, creativity, and resilience.
•
Collaboratively work within a team to enhance the broader school community.
•
Teach additional subjects as required based on departmental needs and the candidate's qualifications.
What qualifications should you possess?
The successful applicant will have:
•
Experience teaching within the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP) and Diploma Programme (IB DP).
•
IGCSE experience is highly regarded.
•
Experience teaching English throughout the senior school.
•
A bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, along with a valid teaching qualification.
•
Relevant international teaching experience.
•
Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
•
Preferred: Experience or willingness to teach an additional subject, such as EAL, TOK, or Humanities.
•
A dedication to ongoing professional development and staying informed of current educational research.
•
The ability to inspire, challenge, and empower students.
•
Creativity, compassion, and a genuine desire to enhance student learning.
