Role Overview:
The Pastoral Support Officer will be instrumental in ensuring the welfare of our students by offering guidance, support, and necessary interventions. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to effectively address the pastoral needs of every student.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in education, Youth Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in pastoral care, student support, or safeguarding is preferred.
- Outstanding communication abilities to build rapport with students from various backgrounds.
- Capacity to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficient in conflict resolution and crisis management.
- Competent in keeping accurate records and reporting on student welfare matters.
