Safeguarding & Child Protection Lead
Job description:
•
Oversee and coordinate the implementation of safeguarding and child protection practices throughout the entire school, serving as the primary professional in this field.
•
Cultivate a proactive safeguarding environment that promotes early detection of risks and ensures strong, consistent practices among staff members.
•
Offer guidance, training, and support to the safeguarding team and the broader staff, empowering colleagues with knowledge and confidence.
•
Develop and maintain safeguarding policies and procedures in accordance with international standards, ensuring they are effectively put into practice.
•
Collaborate closely with students, families, external agencies, and internal teams to enhance the welfare, wellbeing, and safety of every child.
The ideal candidate will possess:
•
A proven history of exceptional teaching performance
•
Ability to teach across the Secondary age range
•
Exceptional subject expertise
•
A passion for outstanding teaching and learning
•
A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience aligned with the qualifications required for this role
