About This Role
Location: Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Qingdao, Tongxiang, Yantai, Hongkong.
The Learning Support Department (LSD) is composed of experts in EAL, SEN, and counseling who collaborate to enhance the educational experiences of our students. While teamwork is a priority within the department, each specialist will also have distinct responsibilities aligned with their area of expertise.
- Provide in-class support and/or withdrawal assistance for identified SEN students.
- Offer support for staff in curriculum development and in-class activities.
- Aid in the modification of assessments as necessary.
- Deliver examination support for SEN students as required.
- Create professional development programs focused on SEN for the entire staff.
- Assist in the formulation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Conduct informal assessments to determine learning needs.
- Communicate with parents on behalf of teachers regarding student academic progress.
- Share learning strategies and available resources with students.
- Perform classroom observations to identify and monitor SEN students when needed.
Qualifications/Skills:
- A Bachelor's Degree with relevant qualifications in Counseling, Special Education, or a related educational field.
- At least 2 years of full-time teaching experience in an educational environment.
