Job Title: ICT Teacher (KS1–KS3)
Location: Kuwait
Start Date: August 2026
Contract Length: 1/2 year/s (renewable)
Job Purpose:
As an ICT Teacher, you will provide stimulating and age-appropriate ICT education that lays the groundwork for technology skills in young students. Your role will involve guiding students to become proficient technology users while nurturing creativity, problem-solving abilities, and responsible digital behavior, all in line with EPG’s educational principles and the British curriculum framework.
Design and deliver ICT lessons for students aged 5–11, ensuring alignment with the British curriculum and catering to the needs of primary learners.
Teach essential computing skills, including keyboarding, coding (e.g., utilizing Scratch), digital presentations, and safe internet practices.
Encourage responsible digital citizenship and promote online safety.
Incorporate educational technology to enhance learning across various subjects.
Develop students' proficiency in software applications like word processors, spreadsheets, and creative tools.
Facilitate cross-curricular learning through ICT initiatives in collaboration with classroom teachers.
Oversee and maintain ICT resources, ensuring that equipment and software are operational and current.
Monitor and evaluate student progress; provide constructive feedback and contribute to formal reports and parent communications.
Engage in school-wide activities, staff development workshops, meetings, and training sessions.
Keep abreast of emerging educational technologies and effective teaching practices in ICT.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, Education, or a related field (required).
PGCE or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification (preferred).
A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching ICT in a primary or international school setting (experience with the British curriculum is preferred).
Familiarity with educational tools, coding platforms, and digital learning environments.
Knowledge of safe and responsible use of digital technology within a school context.
