About This Role

We
are passionate about supporting our young people to succeed both academically
and personally and are looking to appoint a permanent Learning Support
Assistant with additional responsibility for providing emotional literacy
support (ELSA-style interventions) to pupils on a 1:1 and small group
basis. Your expertise will support
pupils with social, emotional and additional learning needs, helping them to
build resilience, confidence and the key skills they need to succeed.


ELSA training or experience delivering Emotional Literacy Support is essential or a strong advantage.


The successful candidate will:

  • ideally be able to share experience of previous good classroom practice including providing 1:1 and small group Emotional Literacy Support
  • be able to support the class teacher/year group across the whole curriculum
  • have experience of working with their own groups
  • be able to show evidence of relevant training.
  • display a range of attributes including personal organisation, initiative, enthusiasm and a caring nature
  • be flexible, adaptable, and be able to provide support and challenge

Compensation

£12.85 to £13.47 per hour for LSA (20 hours per week) and £13.47 to £14.59 per hour for ELSA (12.5 hours per week) (hour)
