About This Role
Chilcote Primary School is seeking to appoint a motivated, skilled and enthusiastic Catering Supervisor to lead our busy school kitchen and ensure the delivery of high quality, nutritious meals for our children.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about food, enjoys working with people, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of service, hygiene and safety.
What we are looking for:
We are seeking a Catering Supervisor who can:
- Lead the day‑to‑day running of our school catering service, ensuring meals are prepared, cooked and served to a high standard
- Supervise, support and coordinate catering staff, ensuring a positive and efficient working environment.
- Plan and implement varied and nutritious menus in line with DfE Food standards and pupils' dietary requirements
- Maintain excellent hygiene and safety standards across the kitchen, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Environmental Health requirements
- Manage stock and food ordering processes and systems
- Contribute positively to school life, including supporting catering needs for school events and functions.
