About the Psychology Department and Role
We are currently in search of an experienced Psychology teacher, with IBDP experience being advantageous, to join our dynamic Psychology department and pastoral team as a Form Tutor. While teaching an additional subject is welcomed, it is not mandatory.
Psychology is a highly sought-after subject at both the IGCSE level (following the AQA 8182 curriculum) and within the IBDP framework. Among our recent IBDP HL Psychology graduates, 30% achieved scores of 7 or 6, while 25% of SL students attained similar results. The Psychology department is dedicated to continuous improvement and is collaborating with other departments this year to offer academic support that aids students in understanding the practical applications of their learning.
About You
You are a forward-thinking educator who sets high expectations for students and nurtures their enthusiasm for learning. Eager to embrace new teaching methodologies, you are collaborative, reflective, and committed to your ongoing professional development. Furthermore, you must satisfy the visa requirements for Poland.
Your qualifications
- An honours degree in a relevant discipline.
- UK QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification).
- Proven experience in an English-speaking educational setting.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging and tailored lessons for KS3, IGCSE, and IBDP students.
- Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment that encourages personal and academic growth.
- Collaborate on curriculum development, assessment design, and departmental initiatives.
- Integrate Nord Anglia’s unique resources and global partnerships into your teaching.
- Actively participate in school activities, including the LEAP co-curricular program, events, and supervision duties.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and colleagues.
