About This Role
Ardingly Astana, a British international school located in the heart of Astana, Kazakhstan, opened its doors in September 2024. Affiliated with the renowned Ardingly College in the UK, established in 1858, the school is dedicated to delivering exceptional educational experiences for all students. We are currently seeking a committed English Teacher to become part of our inaugural secondary teaching team. We are in search of an individual who is enthusiastic about educating students, possesses an open mindset, is creative, and values collaboration with colleagues. All teachers at our school will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons, establishing a nurturing classroom atmosphere, and inspiring a passion for learning among our students. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent certification.
- Prior experience in a British international school setting.
- Familiarity with the Cambridge or National Curriculum of England for English; experience with other curricula is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- A growth mindset and a dedication to lifelong learning.
