SEN Teacher (Bank View School)
About This Role
SEN Teacher – Bank View School, Speke
Bank View School is a specialized institution catering to students with various special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties. Located across three sites in Liverpool—Fazakerley, Croxteth, and Speke—we are looking to recruit a passionate and inspiring Teacher to join our dedicated and innovative team. This position will be based at our Speke site, which currently accommodates 240 pupils, with plans to expand to 300 by September 2026. The school will continue to grow for two more academic years before reaching its full capacity in key stages 3 and 4.
We seek a Teacher who is eager to promote excellence and bring a dynamic approach to the classroom. The ideal candidate will be energetic, creative, and highly motivated, equipped with the expertise to tailor the secondary national curriculum to suit our pupils' diverse needs. Strong subject knowledge and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues are essential.
In September 2024, OFSTED awarded us an “Outstanding” rating across all areas, recognizing Bank View as “an exceptional school where pupils achieve their dreams and ambitions.” We are also honored to hold the National Autistic Society’s charter mark and several prestigious quality marks, including OPAL Platinum School status, the Gold Reading Quality Mark, and the Silver Rights Respecting Schools Award, with progress towards Gold, as well as the Rainbow Flag Award and Parent Partnership Award.
