Readaptation Officer
About This Role
Kativik School Board is inviting applications for the position of Readaptation Officer. This role offers an annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding students with special needs, helping them to reach their educational objectives. The Readaptation Officer will collaborate with educators, families, and external professionals to create and execute individualized education plans (IEPs).
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a university degree in a pertinent field such as psychology, social work, or education.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience working with students with special needs is mandatory.
- Proficiency in both English and French is required.
- Familiarity with Inuit culture will be considered an advantage.
