Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in Individuals and Societies, as well as Business Management or Economics, within the IB MYP framework. Responsibilities include planning and teaching lessons, assessing student progress, collaborating with colleagues, and fostering students’ critical thinking skills in social sciences.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Business Management, Economics, or a related field (minimum requirement)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary/high school level
- Familiarity with the IB Middle Years Programme curriculum standards
- Strong grasp of Individuals and Societies topics along with concepts in Business Management or Economics
- Capability to design inquiry-based lessons that encourage critical thinking
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with a diverse student population
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools to enhance student learning
