About This Role

About the role

As a vital member of the School Leadership Team, you will offer direction, inspiration, and guidance to our Secondary teaching staff. Your focus will be on cultivating a high-performing team, and alongside the Deputy Head, you will oversee the daily operations of the school, which include staff development, performance management, and deployment. You will also play a key role in the Senior Leadership Team.

In our dynamic international environment, you will be responsible for delivering the UK National Curriculum, IGCSE, A Levels, International Baccalaureate Programme, and BTEC. You will inspire your students to set ambitious goals and explore innovative teaching practices to enhance their educational experiences and outcomes.

About you

You will be a qualified teacher with a wealth of experience in hands-on teaching and educational management, enabling you to drive excellence by valuing and developing others. You will stay well-informed about curriculum developments and demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills, with a talent for setting and achieving challenging performance targets.

Your ability to operate with cultural sensitivity in our fast-paced international setting will be essential, as will your capacity to employ various communication strategies and channels. Your strong awareness of commercial, financial, market, and organizational factors will empower you to devise effective solutions to complex business challenges.

With a talent for cultivating a classroom environment where there are no limits to what can be achieved, you will hold a university degree in your specialist subject, a teaching qualification, and considerable teaching experience along with knowledge of the curriculum. Open to feedback and eager to embrace change, you will be enthusiastic about sharing best practices with colleagues and peers.

As a strong advocate for the school, you will be capable of developing new strategies to engage students and parents with the broader school and Nord Anglia Education community. Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
