Head of Primary English

Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science, in collaboration with King's College School, Wimbledon and Nanjing Foreign Language School, is looking to appoint a Head of Primary English to become part of a vibrant learning community that merges the finest elements of international and Chinese education, starting in August 2026.

We are in search of a motivated and seasoned educator to guide our Primary English department. The ideal candidate will possess a deep enthusiasm for language education, along with a successful history of inspiring a passion for the English language and literature in young learners.

Background

Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science was established with significant backing from the Wuxi local government, through a partnership between two prestigious institutions—Nanjing Foreign Language School in China and King’s College School in Wimbledon, UK—aiming to create a “school of the future” that emphasizes holistic education. The school commenced operations in September 2018 with an initial enrollment of 750 students and has since grown to nearly 2,000. This impressive growth reflects the school's quality, its compelling vision, and the strong support from partners, parents, and the broader community.

About you

• A Bachelor’s degree in Art or related disciplines; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• A demonstrated interest in adolescent development and a positive outlook on students’ potential to learn and grow.
• The capability to understand and implement local Chinese educational standards and adapt to new technologies.
• A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Strong collaboration, rapport-building, and communication skills in a Dual Language Immersion setting.
