Capital School Bahrain is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Teacher of Geography to join our growing secondary team, with a start date in August 2026.
The successful candidate will be tasked with teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to engage in A-Level Geography as the school expands its post-16 curriculum. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed geographer to be part of a supportive British curriculum institution with clear goals for Sixth Form development.
Key Responsibilities include:
•
Delivering high-quality Geography instruction across KS3 and KS4
•
Creating engaging and well-organized lessons that align with the English National Curriculum
•
Promoting significant student progress and performance at IGCSE
•
Developing students’ skills in geographical inquiry, fieldwork, and data analysis
•
Maintaining high expectations for behavior, effort, and academic success
•
Collaborating effectively with the Humanities department and the wider school community
The ideal candidate will possess:
•
Qualified teacher status in Geography or a related Humanities discipline
•
Experience teaching the English National Curriculum and IGCSE Geography
•
Strong subject knowledge and effective teaching strategies
•
A commitment to inclusive education and student welfare
•
Experience teaching A-Level Geography (preferred)
