Join us in this inspiring journey! We are on the lookout for a creative and passionate Secondary Design (9-12) Teacher to become a part of our exceptional team in 2025. This is your chance to create a lasting influence and motivate the next generation of designers.
This part-time position is set to commence on 20 January 2025, and relocation assistance is available.
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the Australian Curriculum and effective teaching practices, particularly in Design.
Additionally, the successful applicant will fully embody the Christian values and beliefs upheld by Freshwater Christian College and will seek a position that allows them to leverage their talents and skills to positively impact the lives of our students and the broader College community.
Essential qualifications and requirements
1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in teaching.
2. Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (or the ability to obtain this).
3. A strong alignment with the values, virtues, and Christian beliefs of Freshwater Christian College.
4. Willingness to affirm the College’s Statement of Faith.
5. Ability to adhere to College policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and training requirements, including those regarding work health and safety, risk management, child protection, and confidentiality.
6. Capability to collaborate with all members of the College community.
