Abdulrahman Kanoo School Diyar (ARKS) commenced operations in August 2022 and is the second independent institution under the Abdulrahman Education Group (ARKEDU)—the only educational group in Bahrain with aspirations for both local and regional growth. Our late Founder, Mr. Abdulrahman Jasim Kanoo, envisioned an educational landscape where quality learning is accessible to everyone in the Kingdom. ARKS is a newly constructed facility that initially welcomed a cohort of 220 students from Nursery to Year 5. Following the British curriculum, our current enrollment exceeds 650 students, ranging from Nursery to Year 9. We plan to expand to include an additional year in our Lower Secondary School, aiming for a total capacity of 1,000 students from Nursery to Year 10 by the academic year 2025/26.

Our school’s ethos places significant emphasis on Environment, Sustainability, and Innovation, complemented by access to four multi-purpose sports courts (approved by FIFA and FIBA). These facilities are integrated into our curriculum, as we believe that this hands-on learning approach significantly enriches the educational experience, allowing students to apply classroom knowledge and develop essential practical skills. ARKS stands out as the only tri-lingual school in the Kingdom, offering conversational Mandarin. Our leadership team is dedicated to supporting students by identifying and addressing gaps in the educational landscape—both locally and internationally—by considering factors such as curriculum design, teaching methods, infrastructure, extracurricular activities, and career development opportunities. We strive to pinpoint areas for unique offerings or enhancements. As an educational group, our schools prioritize the well-being of both students and staff, evident in our comprehensive Well-Being Curriculum and dedicated breakout days that focus on stress management, health, work-life balance, and team building.
