26/27 Vice Principal
About This Role
FTE: Full-time
Term of Employment: Continuing - Starting August 27, 2026
Salary and Benefits: As outlined in the provincial salary grid, plus a benefits package that includes subsidized, furnished housing and a Northern living allowance. Relocation support may also be available.
Qualifications:
- Saskatchewan Professional A Teacher’s Certificate (or proof of eligibility)
- Experience and knowledge in applying best practices in instruction, curriculum, learning environment, and assessment
- Familiarity with the languages, histories, and cultures of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and also independently
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Insight into and experience with Northern issues
- A minimum of five years of successful teaching experience
- At least five years of successful administrative experience at elementary, middle, and secondary levels
- Graduate-level academic training in school administration
- Strong capabilities in instructional leadership, organizational skills, interpersonal communication, and overall communication
- A firm commitment to the principles of school plus/community schools and the idea of safe schools
