About This Role
RA International School (RAIS) is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and experienced International Primary Curriculum (IPC) Lead Teacher who possesses a strong vision for outstanding educational practices. The role is set to commence in January 2027, or potentially sooner.

The IPC Lead Teacher role is a strategic, non-classroom-based position aimed at advancing our curriculum. This includes leading, training, collaborating with, and thoroughly supporting our staff in our pursuit of educational excellence.
RA International School:
RAIS is a large international primary school that incorporates a dedicated Learning Support Unit along with a team of specialized educators. Currently, the school serves 430 students aged 3 to 11 years, primarily the children of local and expatriate employees of Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG). We implement the English National Curriculum for English and Mathematics, in conjunction with the IPC. The school is located in a desirable residential area, accommodating both staff and families associated with the company.
We are in search of an IPC Lead Teacher who:
• Is a native-level English speaker
• Holds a B.Ed. or a BA/BSc with a PGCE in Primary Teaching and has Qualified Teacher Status
• Has significant experience teaching primary-aged children in an international setting
• Possesses a high level of proficiency in the IPC
• Understands what excellence entails and can strategically enhance our IPC provision
• Can lead by example through outstanding classroom practices, fostering high standards and expectations
• Is capable of establishing strong, constructive relationships with staff
• Is child-focused and deeply passionate about education
• Exhibits a positive, can-do attitude, along with creativity, resilience, and a sense of humor

Contract terms
The successful candidate will initially receive a two-year contract, with the possibility of annual renewal thereafter.
