We are seeking an adaptable and inspiring Drama Teacher to join our Primary School team, with a start date of August 01, 2026.

THE ROLE – RESPONSIBILITIES


Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate Drama lessons that emphasize creative expression, improvisation, role play, and performance.


Enhance students' confidence, communication abilities, and teamwork through drama-centric learning strategies.


Display dedication and effort to ensure lessons are enjoyable and relevant for all students.


Inspire students to pursue independent learning and ignite a passion for knowledge by embodying enthusiasm themselves.


Adapt lessons to meet the diverse levels of knowledge, abilities, and learning styles present in the classroom.


Effectively incorporate technology into daily teaching and learning practices.


Exhibit a strong understanding of the school’s established curriculum and policies within their teaching methods.


Support the school’s mission and actively participate in the broader school community, willingly sharing knowledge with colleagues.


Create meaningful and impactful communications for class parents that highlight the high-quality teaching and learning occurring in the classroom.

YOUR PROFILE – QUALIFICATIONS


Dedicated, experienced, and qualified educator who seeks opportunities to expand their expertise and enhance the quality of teaching.


A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Primary Education, along with a valid teaching certification or degree in Drama.


A minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in a multilingual environment.


Background in teaching Drama, Performing Arts, or Theatre within a Primary School context.


Confidence in facilitating performance-based learning and creative endeavors.


Capacity to cultivate a safe, inclusive, and playful learning atmosphere that promotes self-expression.


Experience in utilizing technology to enhance student learning experiences.


Familiarity with the IBPYP curriculum is preferred.
