About the Role:
As we continue to grow, we seek a dedicated and skilled Upper School ICT Teacher to join our vibrant international community at ELIS Villamartín. This exciting role involves leading and enhancing ICT education across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, motivating students to unleash their creativity, build self-assurance, and achieve academic success.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a projected start date in September 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver captivating, high-quality ICT lessons to students aged 11–16, preparing them for IGCSE examinations, with potential expansion into Sixth Form and development of Computer Science as a future qualification.
• Utilize assessment data effectively to track student progress, offer comprehensive feedback, and set improvement targets.
• Integrate the ELIS Villamartín Values—Respect, Care, Perseverance, Honesty, and Kindness—into all aspects of teaching, learning, and broader school life.
• Monitor student progress through assessment data to provide timely support and challenges aimed at maximizing individual potential.
• Foster student well-being and resilience, contributing to the implementation of the Cognita Be Well Charter.
• Actively participate in the wider school community through co-curricular activities, events, and enrichment opportunities.

Who We Are Looking For:
• A degree and a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent).
• Demonstrated success in teaching ICT or Computer Science at the secondary school level, particularly in preparing students for external examinations.
• A commitment to holistic education, supporting both academic growth and personal development for each student.
• Enthusiasm, creativity, and a growth mindset, with the ability to inspire both students and colleagues.
• A collaborative and adaptable approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a dedication to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
