Key responsibilities include:

- Fostering positive relationships with all members of the school community.
- Collaborating with fellow educators to design engaging lessons that adhere to the curriculum standards.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and demonstrating flexibility in collaboration.
- Partnering with curriculum support staff (if applicable) to enhance children's development.

Specific Duties:

Teaching and Learning:

- Demonstrating a solid understanding of the curriculum.
- Organizing classroom resources and creating displays that promote a stimulating learning environment.
- Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that address the diverse needs of all students.
- Inspiring students through enthusiastic and creative teaching methods.
- Observing and assessing students in accordance with school assessment protocols.

Assessment and Data:

- Taking ownership of the academic progress of a class.
- Meeting requirements for assessing and documenting student development using Target Tracker.
- Utilizing assessment data to inform future planning, provisions, and interventions.
- Offering feedback to parents and guardians regarding student progress during Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings.

Behavior Management and Duties:

- Adhering to the school's behavior policy.
- Effectively managing classes by employing strategies that cater to students' needs, inspiring and challenging them.
- Performing duties as directed according to school policies.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject along with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.

Minimum Experience:

- At least 1-2 years of teaching experience.

- Experience working with students for whom English is a second language.
- A strong passion for teaching and a commitment to the holistic education of children.

- A positive and solution-oriented approach to work.
