About us:
The Anglophone Section is a unique segment within a public French school, dedicated to delivering exceptional educational experiences for students from the English-speaking community. We are one of nine international sections that coexist within the Cité Scolaire Internationale (CSI) Lyon. Catering to students from CP to Lycée (K-12 / Key Stages 1-5), the Anglophone Section offers a dual curriculum that is both bilingual in English and French.
About the position:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced part-time/full-time History & Geography teacher to join the Anglophone Secondary Section team. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching classes in History, Geography, and Contemporary Global Studies, all conducted in English.
Requirements:
• Native or near-native proficiency in English
• A teaching qualification in Geography (or History) is essential.
• Experience in teaching A-Level, OIB/BFI, AP, or upper high school levels
• Excellent interpersonal abilities with a capacity to work collaboratively in a well-established, tight-knit team
• Must be enthusiastic, respectful, caring, and dynamic
