Teacher of Geography
Capital School Bahrain – British Curriculum International School
Capital School Bahrain is on the lookout for a passionate and knowledgeable Teacher of Geography to join our expanding secondary team, starting in August 2026.
The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to contribute to A-Level Geography as the school broadens its post-16 offerings. This is a fantastic chance for a dedicated geographer to become part of a supportive and aspirational British curriculum school that has clear objectives for Sixth Form development.
Key Responsibilities include:
•
Delivering exceptional Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
•
Designing engaging and well-structured lessons that adhere to the English National Curriculum
•
Facilitating strong student progress and performance at IGCSE
•
Enhancing students’ geographical inquiry skills, understanding of fieldwork, and data analysis
•
Upholding high standards for behavior, effort, and academic achievement
•
Collaborating effectively within the Humanities department and the broader school community
The ideal candidate will possess:
•
Qualified teacher status in Geography or a related Humanities field
•
Experience in teaching the English National Curriculum and IGCSE Geography
•
Robust subject knowledge and effective teaching methods
•
A dedication to inclusive practices and student welfare
•
Experience teaching A-Level Geography (desirable)
