UAE National - Teaching Assistants

We are seeking passionate and committed Teaching Assistants to become part of our team with an immediate start. The ideal candidate will aid in the educational advancement of students by managing supervised study sessions, offering guidance, and supporting learning activities. This position is vital for enabling students to reach their academic objectives and fostering a positive educational atmosphere.

Assist the teacher with reading-related tasks.
Facilitate small group activities both inside and outside the classroom as instructed by the teacher.
Organize and clean up after classroom activities, including mounting student work displays and preparing visual materials.
Photocopy documents and help in the preparation of worksheets and other materials as needed.
Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by direct and indirect line managers or supervisors.
Be responsible for supervising classes for brief periods during emergencies.
Gain an understanding of relevant curriculum components, such as literacy, numeracy, and Phonetics.
Adhere to GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct at all times.
Participate in staff meetings and serve on committees as necessary.
Maintain tact, confidentiality, and discretion consistently. Safeguard confidential information and ensure that details related to students and the school are not disclosed without the consent of the teacher or senior management team.
