About This Role
The States of Guernsey is looking for a Team Leader (11-16) to join the English Department at St Sampsons High School.
In this position, the Team Leader (TL) will support the Principal in providing leadership within a curriculum team, creating an inclusive, supportive, and engaging environment for both staff and students in a safe and secure setting.
The person in this role will oversee the overall leadership and management of the curriculum area while ensuring quality assurance. The Team Leader will strive to develop a curriculum that challenges students and enhances the life opportunities of young individuals. Working collaboratively with the Middle Leadership Team and other schools within the Secondary School Partnership will be crucial in aiming for excellence for all, offering professional support, and seeking continuous improvement.
The Team Leader will be responsible for the performance of all team members, acting as the Team Leader within the school's performance management framework.

Additional Information
Candidates relocating from outside the Island will be granted an 8-year Long Term Employment Permit. This permit allows them to bring immediate family members, who will also have the right to work in any sector on the Island.
