As a member of the Science Department at GEMS Al Barsha National School, you will provide engaging, practical, and rigorous lessons within your area of expertise, assisting students in enhancing their comprehension of fundamental scientific concepts, analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities. In addition to your classroom responsibilities, you will actively engage with the broader school community by participating in enrichment activities, school events, and ongoing departmental initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, prepare, and deliver top-quality lessons in your Science specialization (Physics) that captivate and motivate students of varying abilities.
  • Encourage curiosity and scientific literacy through experimental and inquiry-driven learning experiences.
  • Assess, document, and report on student progress, utilizing data to inform instruction and differentiation efforts.
  • Create and maintain an inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports all learners and encourages academic excellence.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science Department to develop innovative curricula and share effective practices.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on student progress and accomplishments.
