The position
St. Lawrence College, located in Athens, Greece, is actively looking to hire a qualified and experienced Mathematics teacher to join our British school community.
Brief Job Description
The chosen candidate will be tasked with teaching Mathematics to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Collaboration with the current Head of Department and fellow educators will be essential in all aspects of Mathematics planning and delivery, which includes enhancing the scheme of work, developing and sourcing teaching resources, designing and executing assessment tasks, and fostering a greater interest and enjoyment in the subject.

Brief Person Specification
Alongside relevant teaching qualifications and, ideally, experience in teaching Mathematics within a British school setting either in the UK or abroad, the successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional subject knowledge, strong communication abilities, and the endurance necessary to drive the ongoing enhancement of this popular subject.
The successful candidate must be available to commence work on 31st August 2026.
Remuneration
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary in line with British educational standards in Greece, supplemented by bonuses for Christmas, Easter, and summer, along with additional benefits. The position is set within a modern educational environment on a 20-acre campus, surrounded by the beautiful natural landscapes of southern Athens.
