We are excited to announce an opening for a passionate and committed Teacher of History to join our exceptional Sixth Form College. The ideal candidate will motivate and inspire learners, nurturing an environment of high expectations, academic success, and inclusive teaching practices.

In this position, you will be tasked with delivering exceptional teaching in A-Level History, crafting and executing engaging lessons, and guiding students to achieve their utmost potential through effective assessment, monitoring, and tailored support. You will also play a role in curriculum development, maintain precise student records, and actively participate in the broader life of the College, including parents’ evenings, open days, and cross-college initiatives. The ability to teach Politics or Philosophy as an additional subject would be advantageous, enhancing our diverse and enriching curriculum offerings. The college provides A-level courses in Modern History and Early Modern History, and familiarity with both medieval and early modern periods would be beneficial.

We seek a reflective and dedicated educator with strong subject expertise, exceptional communication abilities, and a genuine enthusiasm for post-16 education. You should possess experience in raising achievement and supporting learners of various abilities, along with a proactive and collaborative approach to professional development and teamwork.
