Substitute Teachers

The Education Department of the Montreal Lake Cree Nation is actively inviting applications for Substitute Teachers for the 2025-2026 Academic School Year at Senator Allan Bird Memorial School, with positions available on an on-call basis. We offer a competitive compensation structure for substitute educators.

Application Requirements

Interested candidates should prepare an application package that includes:

• A detailed cover letter specifying the position(s) they are applying for
• A resume highlighting their work experience and educational qualifications
• Three (3) professional references, with at least one reference from their most recent or current employer
• Proof of their qualifications
• A copy of their Saskatchewan Professional A teaching certificate
• A Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check that is no older than three months
