Gulf British Academy is on the lookout for a motivated, skilled, and vision-driven Secondary Science Teacher to primarily instruct students in KS3, with proficiency in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, as part of our expanding institution in the vibrant center of Kuwait.

Established in 2005, GBA is a flourishing, BSO-accredited British international school serving students from Pre-KG to Year 12. In 2020, we transitioned to our custom-built, state-of-the-art campus, demonstrating our ongoing dedication to providing exceptional experiences for both students and educators.

Who We Are Looking For
We are in search of a UK-qualified, passionate, and skilled Secondary Science Teacher who:
- Fosters strong, trusting relationships with students through engaging and supportive learning experiences
- Cultivates an inclusive, inspiring, and academically stimulating classroom atmosphere
- Delivers high-caliber Science lessons across KS3, demonstrating confidence in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Utilizes practical investigations, demonstrations, and modeling to enhance conceptual understanding
- Integrates oracy, scientific dialogue, questioning, and reasoning into daily instruction
- Enhances students' scientific knowledge, inquiry skills, and use of subject-specific terminology
- Designs engaging and progressive schemes of work that align with the National Curriculum for Science
- Assists learners in becoming confident scientific thinkers and communicators
- Actively contributes to STEM initiatives, enrichment activities, and whole-school events

Candidates must be fluent English-speaking graduates holding a UK DfE teacher number or currently completing their final year of training.

- Utilizes technology confidently to aid demonstrations, investigations, and assessments
- Actively participates in enrichment activities, clubs, or STEM initiatives
- Holds a clean enhanced DBS/police clearance
- Is prepared to relocate to Kuwait promptly and ready to teach by 1 September

Essential Requirements
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – PGCE, BEd, or equivalent
- UK bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field
- Recent and successful teaching experience in a UK or BSO-accredited school
- Proficiency in delivering the National Curriculum for Science at KS3
- Confidence in teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Strong classroom management skills and high expectations for student behavior
- Strong digital literacy (Google Workspace, shared drives, science-related digital tools)
