About This Role

Arcadia Global School in Dubai is looking to hire a committed and skilled Secondary Maths Teacher to join our team starting in August 2025. The ideal candidate will collaborate with fellow experienced educators to advance the school’s strategic vision and will be qualified to teach across all secondary Key Stages.

Requirements:

- A fully qualified teacher with a BEd, MEd, PGCE, QTS, or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a high-quality department.
- Proven ability to teach up to GCSE/IGCSE with a track record of successful performance outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in delivering and contributing to the curriculum.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Exceptional teaching ability, delivering innovative lessons informed by current pedagogical practices and forward-thinking initiatives.
- A collaborative professional who works well within their immediate team and the broader school community.

Core Responsibilities

- Employ a range of teaching methods that engage students, fulfilling curriculum requirements while ensuring that all learners’ needs are addressed through scaffolding and clear objectives.
- Uphold discipline in line with the school's policies, promoting good practices regarding punctuality, behavior, and quality of work.
- Participate in the creation and execution of the subject’s strategic action plan.
- Ensure effective monitoring and communication with parents concerning students' academic progress, adhering to school reporting procedures and addressing specific concerns as they arise.
- Follow current school policies and procedures.
- Prepare and regularly update subject materials, including schemes of work.
