RAK Academy AL Hamra:

Located in the southern part of Ras Al Khaimah within the Al Hamra community, RAK Academy – Al Hamra is a growing primary and lower secondary school that implements a modified UK National Curriculum from Pre-K to Grade 8, alongside UAE MOE subjects. Our newly launched secondary school will begin welcoming students in Grades 6 to 8 in August 2026. Accredited by the British Schools Overseas (BSO) and aligned with leading international British schools, we offer comprehensive ECT induction for our teachers.

The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and inspiring Islamic B teacher to join our dynamic Islamic department in the secondary school.

Essential Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies or a related discipline.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.

• Knowledge of the Ministry of Education curriculum for Islamic B.

• A solid grasp of effective teaching and learning methodologies.

• High proficiency in the use of technology to enhance educational experiences.

• Capability to engage, motivate, and support students.

• A reflective practitioner with innovative thinking and creative strategies.

• A positive and enthusiastic team player with a growth-oriented mindset.

• Willingness to actively engage in extracurricular activities.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Previous experience teaching GCSE/IGCSE/A-Level courses (Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply).

Desirable Qualifications:

• Training in the UK Curriculum or International Baccalaureate.

• Familiarity with Google Suite, including Google Classroom.

• Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes.
